Matt Crane

CEO

Matt started the company in 2003, and has a strong vision of where he wants Monty’s Bakehouse to be. Still very much involved in every level of the company, Matt tastes every new recipe personally before it goes on to be developed.

David Newton

Chief Financial Officer

David is our Chief Financial Officer working closely with Matt and David Amos. He joined the company in 2015. Prior to this he was a partner in PwC for 25 years and is a Chartered Accountant and member of the Institute of Taxation.

Harry Crane

Senior Manager Supply Chain Design

Brother of Matt, Harry has been with Monty’s Bakehouse since the very early days, and is instrumental in managing all of Monty’s Bakehouse exporting procedures, sourcing and account management.

Andy Bamford

Senior Manager Supply Chain Delivery

With over 15 years’ experience of Stock, Supply Chain and commercial processes, Andy oversees the day to day logistics of getting our products across the globe, ensuring we always deliver a high quality service.

Lucy Stowell

Senior Manager Marketing & Insight

With a background in Digital Marketing and Relationship Development, Lucy joined Monty’s Bakehouse in 2009 and manages an array of areas including Account Management, Sales, Marketing & Events.

Janina Wightman

Executive Assistant

Phill Sumnall

Executive Chef

Phil joined Monty’s Bakehouse from Kerry Foods but his prior career boasts training with Jean Christophe Novelli, Jamie Oliver and working on the P&O Cruise liner Oriana. With a strong background in French Cuisine, Phil has worked in numerous 5 Star and Michelin star restaurants throughout the UK during his career.
